How to market yourself during the holiday period!

It’s almost that time of year again! Now that Halloween is over and the pumpkins are looking a bit worse for wear, the marketers attention turns to Christmas.

Away from the presents, spending time with family and eating far too much food, the festive period is also one of the best times of year to put some extra time and effort into marketing your product or brand.

Grab your customers attention as soon as they get onto your website by having a festive themed landing page. Use photos with your products styled with festive items or you can easily add small graphics of Christmas items over the top of images to make the whole landing page more fun.

One of the easiest ways to get involved in the holiday spirit is to have a Christmas campaign on your social media throughout December, there could be a variety of these from ‘Elf on the shelf’ a social media ‘advent calendar’ or focusing on the ‘12 days of Christmas’ with each day signifying something else that your company offers, or celebrating and championing a piece of work that has already been completed.

Lastly, one of the best ways to capture customers attention whilst all the festivities are happening around them is to hold some type of giveaway or competition. We would recommend doing this fairly regularly throughout the year anyway, but especially at Christmas time when everyone is looking to save some money where they can and will be more inclined to engage!
